Access control and identity management

Traditional role-based (RBAC) does not take into account that the person can work in multiple positions in different organizations or units. Seafront IDM's employment contract based access control (extended RBAC) automatically manages a single identity that has access to systems and data in different organizations.

Supply chain management

External workforce and subcontractors are not typically in the Human Resources systems and their accounts and access is managed by manual service requests. With Seafront IDM the management of external companies and workforce can be done in one place. The identity and authorization management of externals can even be delegated to the external companies to reduce internal administration work.

To verify persons who are working remotely, Seafront IDM's Self-registration module enables strong identification of external employees during identity onboarding.

Access approvals

If not all accesses cannot be automatically provisioned, additional access requests can be sent for approval. Seafront IDM workflows enable management of access requests and approvals.

Access audit and certifications 

 Centralized identity management system provides a fast way to conduct regular audits of access permissions. Seafront IDM provides also system level access certifications that can be scheduled to ensure removal of unnecessary access rights.

Incident management

Centralized identity management provides valuable information for detecting and responding to security incidents. Seafront IDM itself tracks all the changes to the identity on attribute level and provides an access log that can be imported to a SIEM or log management system.
